How to Place an International Order

Thank you very much for your interest in our jewelry!

Our credit card authorization and processing gateway (we use Authorize.net, the most trusted service in the business) cannot automatically authorize most international credit cards. This results in the card being declined in many cases. When this occurs, we need to process your credit card transaction through our credit card machine in our store, obtaining authorization via a phone call to the credit card issuing bank.

Payment options for international customers:

  • If you have a PayPal account, you can place your order for your merchandise and we will bill you separately for the added cost of international shipping, once we present you with the options and cost. Confirmed addresses only please!
  • If you have a fax machine, you can order using the order form below, following the faxing instructions to send us a secure fax with your order and credit card payment particulars.
  • Or, you can use the shopping cart feature of our website and then select "bill me" instead of Mastercard or Visa as payment method. This will send us an email regarding your intention to order. However, remember to add customerservice@tahitianpearls.biz to your "safe" or "trusted" email addresses, or you may not receive our reply. Obviously, we cannot ship your order until we have received confirmed payment.

Once we have your order, we will contact you with shipping options and cost. Some countries, such as Singapore*, prohibit international shipments of jewelry through the mail (even in EMS shipments). For these countries we must ship by Fedex, at a cost of $50 to $78. For other destinations such as Australia* and Germany*, registered mail or insured global priority mail ($19-$45) may be available, depending on shipment value.

We will not charge your card until you have approved the shipping cost. So again, make sure to add us to your trusted email list, so that you receive our email about shipping options, or provide us a telephone number to reach you.

*The restrictions on shipping jewelry through the international mail change. To be certain of the restrictions on postal packages to your country, please consult the International Mail Manual
